Repertoire List

The York String Quartet provides music for all occasions, ranging from original classic compositions through to arrangements of modern day favourites - from Bach, Mozart and Tchaikovsky to the Beatles, Gershwin and Lloyd Webber, and including all your wedding favourites, popular classics, pop songs, and traditional songs.

Our repertoire is fairly extensive, and thus we can usually satisfy most musical tastes. It is constantly expanding and changing though, so although your particular favourite may not be listed, it may be that we have recently acquired it. In any case, we can often source an existing arrangement, and if it is not commercially available, you can pay a nominal fee to have an arrangement written specially for you.
